The sight of his new friend being gunned down is enough of a catalyst to get Masato on his feet, so he can shout a curse at the Decepticons.Īfter Masato slowly but surely walks to safety and stands ready to cheer the Autobots on, the four Headmasters combine their powers for their “Hell’s Great Wheel” attack - a whirling tornado created by their own spinning bodies that blasts the Decepticons right out of the fight. Just after he sets Masato down, Highbrow is blasted by the villains. The pair then return to the hospital… and discover that in their absence, the Decepticon Headmasters have attacked! But that’s okay - family is not who you’re related to, it’s the people you love, and who love you. Highbrow plays “Ghost of Christmas Present” for Masato, showing him around the city, looking in on others celebrating, and explaining that, as a robot, he doesn’t have a biological family either. Highbrow (aka, that one Autobot Headmaster who IDW hasn’t given anything to do yet) is determined to cheer the boy up, and whisks him off in his helicopter mode. The Autobot Headmasters are doing their part for Christmas charity by visiting a children’s hospital to hand out presents - even Raiden, the Trainbot combiner, has come along to join the fun, complete with giant Santa hat and sack! Unfortunately, there’s one child who’s down in the seasonal dumps - Masato, an orphan who is in a wheelchair following some surgery, but who is too depressed and angry over the fact that he has no family to spend Christmas with to muster up the strength to start walking again.
